"Education to me is always No. 1 for kids. I picked Lego for that very reason - it's not only a toy, but also educational. I want whoever receives this to learn and have fun at the same time!"

"While I might not get a verbal 'thank you,' but the mere thought of how happy these children would be and the big smiles on their faces make it all worthwhile - that’s the best 'thank you' you could ever get in my opinion."

"My parents worked hard to provide me with what they could, but there were definitely times I couldn’t get everything I wanted. I hope by all of us giving back, these kids won't feel the same way I did."

"One of the most beautiful things about charity is that you get to bring people together for a good cause - it’s a positive and contagious energy and that to me means so much. So even with my busy schedule, I try to be there and volunteer as often as I could - even if it's something simple like joining the Climate Catwalk or supporting Toni (Garrn) whenever she has a charity event!"

In the true spirit of the holidays, The Society and our talents are giving back through #ToysforTots to gift children with brand new toys so all kids can enjoy a happy holiday season. From Dec. 1st to the 25th, we will feature individual talents daily on our Instagram with what they’ve chosen for gifting, with posts highlighting a few for our blog as well! Check out who we’ve featured so far here.

Our third highlighted talent and generous giver is Arlenis Sosa, who started her own foundation back home in The Dominican Republic focusing on pediatric diabetes. Click on the slideshow to learn more about her #TSMforTots story!
